The MM2H Programme is divided into three main categories:

Key Requirements and Benefits
- Age Requirement: Minimum age of 25 for the main applicant across all categories.
- Maximum Fixed Deposit Withdrawal: Up to 50% can be withdrawn for property, medical, education, or tourism expenses in Malaysia.
- Minimum Stay: Cumulative 90 days per year in Malaysia. Applicants aged 25-49 can fulfill this requirement either as the principal or dependent.
- Dependents: Applicants can bring their spouse, unmarried children below the age of 34, parents, and parents-in-law.
- Domestic Helper: Permitted only for Platinum category participants.
- Conduct Business/Work: Permitted only for Platinum category participants.
Property Purchase and Sale
- Property Purchase: Participants are required to purchase property at specified values based on their category, only after obtaining the approval letter.
- Timeframe for Selling Property: Participants are prohibited from selling their property within 10 years unless upgrading to a property of higher value.
